Point of view

I realized that the Point of view of Jeff Carll had changed vintage, passing without transition from 2017 to 2019 (there may be a 2018, but I had to be in hibernation at that time). Between the two, a radical change: the assembly passes from 50% Carignan, 30% Syrah and 20% Grenache has 40% Cinsault / 30% Syrah / 20% Carignan / 10% Grenache. There is bound to be an impact. And as I am a Cinsophilic, I have to taste this new version.
Well, it's a palace revolution: while the old one did not get me more than that, it has a fairly incredible charm and originality, resembling any wine I know and a bit like Chirp red At the assembly even more improbable (40% Cabernet Sauvignon / 25% Syrah / 25% Mourvèdre / 10% Cabernet Franc), it is a wine that can please the pointed amateur as much as to Mme Toulemonde provided 'to be a minimum Aware*.
The dress is a translucent dark garnet.
The nose is fine, aerial, complex, on the cherry liquor, plum pie, blackcurrant and violet.
The mouth is round, loose, coated, deploying a velvety material with sever and sensual accents, with a languid and baroque fruity / floral.
The finish gains in concentration and "severe" mixing cherry liqueur with resin-ballsamic notes and extending on chalky, spicy and floral notes.
